You can set your domains in 3 ways,

  1. Make www.yourdomain.com as your main site and redirect yourdomain.com (root domain) to www.yourdomain.com. In this way www.yourdomain.com will work as your-school-name.newzenler.com.
  2. Make courses.yourdomain.com or mycourses.yourdomain.com or any-other-prefix.yourdomain.com work as your-school-name.newzenler.com.
  3. Make yourdomain.com (root domain) as your main site and redirect www.yourdomain.com to yourdomain.com. In this way yourdomain.com will work as your-school-name.newzenler.com.

1. If you want to setup the custom domain as in the step 1 then follow the steps below,

a. Add www.yourdomain.com as custom domain in NewZenler Dashboard.
b. In your DNS dashboard, create a CNAME for www with value your-school-name.newzenler.com.
c. In your DNS dashboard, add a forwarding rule for the root domain (yourdomain.com) to www.yourdomain.com

The detailed steps to set up the www domain are given in the following link.

2. If you want to setup the custom domain as in the step 2 then follow the steps below,

a. Add your-prefix.yourdomain.com as custom domain in NewZenler Dashboard.
b. In your DNS dashboard, create a CNAME for your-prefix with value your-school-name.newzenler.com.
The detailed steps to set up the a sub-domain are given in the following link.

3. If you want to setup the custom domain as in the step 3 then follow the steps below,

a. Add yourdomain.com as custom domain in NewZenler Dashboard.
b. In Cloudflare dashboard, create a CNAME for @ with value your-school-name.newzenler.com.

We cannot provide an IP to point your root domain (yourdomain.com). We can only provide FQDN (your-school-name.newzenler.com) for pointing your domains. But in your DNS dashboard we have to use add an IP as A record for @  (for root domain you set @ as value instead of blank).

So you have to use Cloudflare's free service to set up the domains. In Cloudflare, you can set an FQDN for the root domain. The steps to set up the root domain are given in the following link.
