This article deals with how to create coupons for your NEW Zenler courses.
You can find an option to create coupons right under Courses -> Coupons -> Create Coupon.
If your site is not yet connected to your Stripe/PayPal account, then you can see a warning at the top of your page once you click on the Create Coupon button.
Once you click on the Connect now link you will get redirected to the site Integrations page. Where you can find 2 options: Stripe & PayPal.
How to create a Coupon Code?
You can find an option to create coupons right under Courses -> Coupons -> Create Coupon.
Coupon Code: You can either customise your coupon code. You can choose the option ’Create a Code for me’ to generate a coupon code by random.
Discount Type: You can set 2 types of discounts.
=> Percentage: You can set the discount in percentage. And make it applicable for All/Specific products (Courses).
=> Amount: You can set a discount amount. You can make this coupon applicable for
specific products (courses) not for All.
Coupon Applicable To:
=> All Products: Select "All Products" if the coupon has to be applicable for all
courses/bundles.
=> Specific Product: Select "Specific Products" if the coupon has to be applicable to a
specific course/bundle. If the discount type chosen is "amount", you cannot apply
the coupon to "All Products".
=> Specific Product Pricing Plan(s): Select "Specific Products" and then select "Pricing
Plans" if the coupon has to be applicable to a specific course/bundle pricing plan(s).
Coupon Redemption Limit: Maximum number of times coupon can be used.
Note: Leave it blank for unlimited use.
Coupon Expiry: Coupon can be applied till the date given here.
Recurring Discount: This is only applicable for subscription/payment plans.
=> Apply discount for the first billing only:
For Monthly plans, the coupon discount will be applicable for one month.
For Annual plans, the coupon discount will be applicable for one year.
=> Apply discount during every billing:
The coupon discount will apply to all billing for both monthly/annual plans.
=> Apply discount for X months:
This coupon will get applied for X months. And moreover, this coupon will be only
applicable to monthly plans.
Once you create a coupon, then a coupon applied Course URL will be generated automatically. You can copy the same from Courses -> Coupons.
How to create a Coupon applied on Affiliate link:
Eg: <any url>?affiliate=affID&coupon=coupon_code
How the coupons will get apply on your courses:
Eg: 100%OFF Coupon applies to First billing
(i) Course Sales page
(ii) Course Checkout page
Notes:
If the 100%OFF Coupon is ONLY applied for the first billing, then the card details will be collected at the time of signup.
If the 100%OFF Coupon is applied for Every billing, then we don't collect the card details at the time of signup.
