Go to 'Courses' and click on 'Course' that you wish to add to the subscription plan.

'Pricing' > 'Add New Plan'

Select 'Subscription' and click 'Next'.

To set the 'Price' you can change the currency i.e. GBP and the amount i.e. 100 for this course.

There is also an option to 'Set Additional Fee.' This is a setup fee that will be charged immediately upon purchase. If trial days are set, the additional fee can be used for paid trials as well.

Turn this option 'On' and enter the 'Additional One Time Fee' i.e. £50. As a result, the initial fee will be £100, followed by the £50. This leads to a total charge of £150 for the initial purchase or the first subscription.

In the 'Additional Fee Text' box, you can provide specific information regarding the additional fee. This area can be used to reference documents or extra items you might want to include. Alternatively, you also have the choice to send products along with the subscription or incorporate a coupon.

'Billing' options give you the flexibility to pay yearly, daily, weekly, bi-weekly, every three months, and every six months. Additionally, the 'Custom' option allows you to precisely determine the payment schedule for your subscriptions.

Let's proceed to the Subscription 'Name' and label it as "Our Subscription". Scroll down, and click 'Finish' located at the bottom of the page.

The subscription setup is complete and ready to preview. The subscription type will be monthly at a set price of £100.

To edit your subscription plan that you just created, go to 'Courses' > enter 'Course' (with subscription plan) >'Pricing' > 'Edit' icon to make changes to your subscription to your course.

To add a 'Description,' enter something like this: "This is our monthly membership plan."

Let us change the 'Buy Button Text' from "Buy Now" to "Per Month Payment" to ensure complete clarity for users regarding the payment frequency. The goal is to make sure users understand the payment structure at a glance. Click 'Update'.

With a subscription, you can offer a trial by activating the option 'Set Trial Days'. Students share card details during sign-up, but payment happens later. Similar to many systems, users can try for a specific time, and if they continue, they pay the subscription. Cancel anytime before the trial ends via their accounts.

Specify the 'Trial Days', e.g. 30 days to grant a first month trial. Note that this information won't be visible on your sales page. Include "30 days free trial and then you are charged" in the 'Description' to ensure it's shown on the sales page to avoid any confusion.

'Set Enrollment Limit'. You can cap the student count for this pricing plan. Once the limit is reached, new enrollments won't be possible. For instance, setting it at 10 means only 10 people can join before the plan deactivates. This helps manage live workshops or monitored courses, ensuring focused attention on the enrolled students. Always click 'Update' after making changes.

Next, 'Set Availability' with 'Enrollment Start Date', which dictates when the pricing plan becomes active. For instance, if today is the 21st and we set the date for the 25th, the plan will go live on that day, in 4 days. Alternatively, for instant access, we can set a date two days earlier than today.

Furthermore, you have the option to set an 'Enrollment Close Date'. For example, if I set it for the 30th of April, the plan will deactivate slightly over a week from today. Starting from May 1st, it won't be available for purchase. Ensure that you adjust the time zone in the enrollment start and close date settings, and remember to update after making any adjustments.

To 'Set Tiers' means that in each pricing plan, you can offer various plans within the same course. This approach lets you unlock specific parts of your course while keeping others restricted. Imagine it as a bronze, silver, and gold system.

With three plans—bronze, silver, and gold—you can activate only certain sections. For instance, in the bronze plan, you might enable just the introduction and welcome. Those who choose bronze will access only these parts. With the silver plan, you can unlock extra lessons or sections. Lastly, with the gold plan, you could choose to unlock all sections. If you're unlocking everything, there's no need to enable tiers; users will have complete access.

Next is the 'Tax Category' function, allowing you to apply tax based on the item type (digital, physical/services) or make it tax-exempt.

Furthermore, you can enable a 'Community' for each course. For this pricing plan, activating a community is possible. For more details on communities, refer to our 'Support Documents'.
