What is the 'Discount Type'?

To access this section in Zenler:

  1. Go to "Sites" or "Courses" depending on where you want to create the coupon.

  2. Scroll down to the "Coupons" section and click on it.

  3. This will take you to the Zenler coupon area. Click on "Create a Coupon".

Next, you will be taken to the 'Coupons' page:

There are two discount options in Zenler: 'Percentage' and 'Amount'.

You can apply these to multiple products on the site using one coupon.

If you use the percentage discount type across multiple products, it will discount them by that percentage. For instance, if you want to discount 50% from a course, it would reduce the price by half.

If you use the amount discount type, it may not work for all products. For example, if you apply an £80 discount to a course for £50 and another course for £100, it would exceed the price of the £50 course.

We recommend using the percentage discount type for multiple products and the amount discount type for a single product.

To apply the discounts, select the products and enter the discount amount that corresponds to the percentage or the amount.
