On the main blog page in Zenler, you can change the top section, add or remove blocks to the templated page, and modify the text, title, and background image of the page.

To make changes to this page, go to 'Site' > 'Blocks' > 'Settings', in the right-hand side corner.

It will take you to the 'Blog Settings'.

In this case, we changed 'Blog Title' and 'Blog Description'.

Scroll down & click 'Update'.

Go back to your blog page, refresh the page, and then view the changes.

Furthermore, you can even modify the template itself. To achieve this, go back to 'Blog Settings', and scroll down to access 'Blog Home Page' and 'Blog Post Page'.

To modify the 'Blog Home Page', click 'Edit Page'.

Now, you are on the 'Home Page'. You'll be using the 'Page Builder' to make modifications. Simply select the specific section you wish to edit and then click on the 'Settings' icon, on the left-hand side.

The 'Settings Menu' opens up on the right side. Go to 'Background Image'.

You can use images from 'My Library' as in this case, or you can upload your own.

This is the preview of the new background image.

To make further changes, let's delete the word 'OUR' from the title Our Stories.

Simply click the 'Delete' icon.

Now, we change the color of the word 'Stories' from black to white.

Go to 'Settings' > 'Style' > 'Colour' > 'White'.

When you completed all the modifications, click the 'Save' button located at the top right-hand corner.

View the changes.

Let's replace this block now. First, click 'Delete'.

To add a new block, go to 'Blocks' > 'Empty Block'. Then drag & drop this block into the designated area.

This is the new empty block. Next, 'Add Row'.

Select 'Row'.

'Add element' to the row.

We choose the 'Headings' element, 'Heading 1'.

Type in your text i.e. "Zenler Blog Page".

Let's add a background image. Go to 'Settings' > 'Background Image'.

Select an image.

Now you can see the new background image. Next, Turn ON 'Background Overlay' > select 'Colour' i.e. black.

As the overlay is quite dark, we will change the 'Text Colour' from black to white. After completing all the changes, click 'Save'.

Let's view the new block that we created.

Keep in mind that you can also introduce a block to the bottom area. 'Duplicate' the existing block, shift it downwards, and 'Save' the changes.

Now you can see a 'duplicate' block at the bottom of the blog home page. Edit this block the same way we demonstrated earlier in this article.

The same principles can be applied to your 'Blog Post Pages'.

In the 'Blog Settings', scroll down to 'Blog Post Page' and click 'Edit Page'.

By editing a specific post, you'll encounter dynamic content that shouldn't be removed, as it's crucial for displaying the blog post.

To add a top block, go to 'Blocks' > 'Add New Empty Block' > 'drag & drop' into the designated area.

Add 'Background Image' and 'Overlay Colour' via 'Settings Menu'.

Now 'Add Row' and then 'Add Element' > 'Heading'.

When you are finished click 'Save'.

Now, the top block that we created is ready to be viewed. This block will consistently appear in each blog post.

The same process can be replicated for both homepage blogs and individual blog post pages, allowing you to effectively tailor your blog templates to your preferences.
