Zenler lets you host livestream sessions directly inside your Community, making it simple to run live classes, Q&A sessions, coaching calls, and community events without relying on external platforms.

To begin a livestream, ensure you are logged into your Zenler site as an Admin or Instructor.

How to Start a Live Stream in the Community

  1. Go to your Zenler Admin Dashboard

  2. Navigate to Communities → Go to Community

  3. Click Go Live to start your session

  4. A Create Live Stream window will appear. Please fill in the following details:

    1. Topic: Enter the topic of your live session.

    2. Add Cover: If you want to use a thumbnail for your recorded live session, you can upload it here.

    3. Zoom Provider: By default, it is set to Zenler Zoom. If you have already integrated your own Zoom account with a webinar license, you can select it from this dropdown.

    4. Duration: Choose the duration of your live session. You can set up to 4 hours.
Note: The live session will count toward your monthly live credits.

    5. Community: Select the Community where you want to go live.

    6. Send an email notification to all members:
If enabled, an email notification will be sent to all members of the community when you start the live session.
Please note: If you send an email at this time, you will not be able to send another email for the next 48 hours.

  5. Click Start Live to begin the session.

Once you go live, members will instantly see the livestream appear inside the Community feed.

How Members Join the Live Stream

  • Members do not need Zoom or external links.

  • They simply log in to the site → go to the Community → the livestream appears there.

  • If notifications are enabled, they will receive an alert when you go live.

Participant Permissions

  • Members can chat inside the livestream.

  • Members can speak only if the host gives permission.

  • If a member enters by mistake or does not wish to join, they can simply close the tab and click Leave Stream.

Ending the Live Stream & Replay

When your livestream is completed:

  1. Click End Livestream.

  2. The replay will automatically appear as a post inside the Community, and members can watch it anytime at their convenience.
The chat from the livestream will be added as comments on the replay post.

You can go live inside any Community — Public, Private, or Secret.
Hosting a live session in a Public Community is also a great way to generate leads and increase visibility, as anyone can watch the livestream without being a member or even logging in. This helps you reach a wider audience and attract new potential students. However, viewers will need to join the community if they want to participate in the chat.

Live sessions in Private and Secret Communities remain exclusive and are only accessible to members of those specific communities.
